I also provide psychological services through electronic means. With mutual agreement, I may provide consultation or psychotherapy through internet or telephone. I do request you to still read and sign the Psychological Services Information and Contract before we start. I also request you to pre-pay the full amount of the charge before the start of each session. I don’t accept insurance payment for the e-service.
As a licensed psychologist, I am ethically and legally bound to protect the confidentiality of our communications. I will only release information about our work to others with your written permission or in response to a court order. There are some situations in which I am legally obligated to breach confidentiality in order to protect you or others from harm. Please refer to the information and contract page for detail. As you are no doubt aware, it is impossible to completely protect the confidentiality of information that is transmitted electronically. This is particularly true of e-mail and information stored on computers that are connected to the internet even with encryption and other forms of security protection. As you choose to utilize the psychological service through electronic means, you understand and consent to the risk that is associated with the method.
